YOGA & MEDITATION – Charlotte, Wild Soul Yoga
All yoga and meditation sessions are optional and suitable for ALL levels of experience. Props will be provided. Please bring your own mat.
Yoga will take place in the beautifully restored thatched Cider Barn – Underfloor heating, soft lighting, and views of the meadow and woodlands beyond. A morning mindfulness meditation will be offered before breakfast for the early birds. A mid morning active, energising, yoga flow, focusing on playful, mindful movement with the breath. The afternoon yoga sessions will take the form of a Yin Yoga Workshop – an opportunity to delve deep into this wonderful, passive, introspective practice that offers a chance to turn inward and nurture the calm, quiet centre that is innate in all of us. Charlotte will be sharing more detailed knowledge on Traditional Chinese Medicine, Props, Modifications & Aromatherapy. Taking your Yin practice to the next level.
Over the weekend, there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and be curious about your yoga practice. Charlotte is very excited to be able to assist and guide you, and gift you a well deserved mini head massage.
Special treat on Saturday night will be a Gong Bath in the Cider Barn – A gong bath is an immersive sound experience. It’s called a ‘bath’ because sound waves ‘wash’ over you as you relax and enjoy the melodic journey. The harmonics will effortlessly lull your mind into a meditative state, while the vibrations revitalise your body and help to release tension. By the end, you’ll feel supremely relaxed, calm and happy.
FOOD – Emma, 5ft2 Kitchen
Emma just loves to serve good food, to good people. She loves to create a place where you can eat with friends at the same time as meeting new ones. One long table, with lots of conversations and laughter.
With the emphasis on fresh, healthy vegetarian food, we will share all meals and share experiences. Pop into the kitchen if you fancy, peel some carrots and tell Emma about your day. Emma wants to share her love of food and cooking and how that plays a part in connecting people, opening conversations, creating friendships and making lasting memories.
For Emma, food is about sharing, about caring, about opening her heart and watching the delight on people’s faces. Simple cooking with delicious, fresh, local produce to make us smile. Warm bellies, warm hearts! You will not go hungry, Emma’s a feeder.
